The first time I did something games-related was this project. Its name was Knights of Hadronia, from Allé Voy studio. We wanted to create a 2D isometric game with beautiful, scalable graphics with lots of stories and combats, roughly based on King Lear.
These are early concepts for Ariel, the main character. After some ideas and different proposals, we decided to change to a more cartoon-like style. I made these concepts searching for the main character’s art style and proportions, and they were made with vectors in Adobe Illustrator. We also started to imagine some of the assets of the environment, exterior and interior.
After several months, the project grew a lot, and we decided to postpone it. We still have this early art, so we can remember how it was.
